Koyuncu Salt is Türkiye’s largest salt producer, operating with modern production and R&D facilities located at the UNESCO-protected Salt Lake in Ankara.

 Thanks to both the protected nature of the lake and Koyuncu’s enclosed harvesting ponds, our production area remains completely isolated from external environmental factors. This ensures that all salt produced is microplastic-free, maintaining its natural composition and purity from source to packaging.

 With a team of over 220 dedicated employees, Koyuncu focuses on innovation and responsible production, offering a wide range of salt products — from industrial and food-grade salts to water softening, drilling, feed and pool salt. Every year, around 1.5 million tons of raw salt are harvested through the solar evaporation method, a 100% natural and energy-efficient process, and approximately 500,000 tons of salt are produced in our modern facilities.

 Koyuncu Salt supplies nearly half of Türkiye’s total salt demand and exports to more than 50 countries across five continents, including the USA, Central America, Europe, and Africa.
